I’m excited to share that I’ll be offering a new Cancer and Mental Health webinar series, available virtually, to anyone in Canada. As a Social Worker and Therapist who has spent fifteen years of my career working in oncology, I’ve seen what makes the cancer experience harder on patients and caregivers than it has to be a what those facing cancer and their families can do to support themselves through this difficult time and feel more empowered. I truly feel that we all deserve easy access to information on the various evidence-based techniques and strategies that can support our mental health, help us calm our nervous systems when emotions feel overpowering, and develop a new relationship with our feelings, thoughts and fears. My hope with this webinar series is that it can help ease access to education and equip you with useful techniques in a simple and affordable way.
