We will work together towards the goals that are most important to you, explore strategies and tools for coping and focus on actions that enrich your life.
The Confidence
Lab
Imagine a world of wonder, where ice cream volcanoes erupt, where giant bubbles fill the sky and where your very own masterpiece lights up the room. By bringing together engaging art and science activities, as well as evidence-based techniques and creative teaching to enhance a child’s self-esteem and mental health, the Confidence Lab is a six week group focused on helping your child to better cope with big emotions and build healthy self-esteem.

Mental Health and Cancer Webinar series
I’m excited to share that I’ll be offering a new Cancer and Mental Health webinar series, available virtually, to anyone in Canada. As a Social Worker and Therapist who has spent fifteen years of my career working in oncology, I’ve seen what makes the cancer experience harder on than it has to be, what those facing cancer and their caregivers can do to support themselves through the difficult time and feel more empowered, and I truly feel that we all deserve easy access to information on the various evidence-based techniques and strategies that can support our mental health, help us calm our nervous systems when emotions feel overpowering, and develop a new relationship with our feelings, thoughts and fears. My hope with this webinar series is that it can help ease access to education and equip you with useful techniques in a simple and affordable way.
About Me
I am a registered social worker and practicing psychotherapist who works with individuals 18 years of age and older. As a therapist, my previous clients have described me as empathetic, warm and caring. I focus on cultivating a space that is open, supportive and easy going. I’ll provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about your experiences, while also helping you learn strategies to cope with difficult thoughts and feelings. Along the way, I will also provide resources and tools for your unique situation.
